بيان:
لا نقبل الاحتلال حليفاً لثورتنا

كسر السوريون والسوريات جدار الصمت في ثورتهم/ن ضد نظام القمع الأسدي، وخرجوا شيبًا وشبانا يطلبون الحرية، فواجه النظام ثورتهم بكل ما أوتي من بطش وقتل ما يقارب 200 ألف سوري وسوريّة وغيّب عشرات الآلاف بشكل قسري إضافة لتهجير الملايين، ورغم هذا حافظ الشارع السوري على تمسكه بحقه في الحرية والعدل والكرامة كمطالب ثورته الرئيسة.
وعمل النظام منذ بداية الثورة السورية على وأد أهدافها التحررية من خلال الترويج لنفسه كنظام يدعم المقاومة ضد الاحتلال ومن خلال الترويج للتطرف وزرع بذوره في صفوف المناهضين لحكمه الاستبدادي الإجرامي حتى صار من السهل العثور على الكثير من أشباهه في أطياف المعارضة السورية. كانت الحركات الأصولية أول نجاحات النظام في تشويه أهداف الثورة السورية وها نحن اليوم بعد ثلاثة أعوام ونصف من مذبحة الأسد المستمرة ضد الشعب السوري نواجه شكلًا آخر للانحراف عن أهداف الثورة الرئيسية من خلال ممارسات بعض المعارضين السوريين الذين يحاولون التحالف مع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحجة مواجهة المقتلة الأسدية، واستبدال نظام حكم قاتل بتحالف مع الاحتلال القاتل.
إن المشروع الذي يروج له ويمارسه المعارض السوري كمال اللبواني والمتحالفون معه إذ يُغلف بمحاولة التخلص من نظام الأسد الديكتاتوري فإنه يحمل في عمقه انحرافًا كاملًا عن أهداف الثورة السورية، وتفريطاً مجانيّاً بحقوق الشعبين السوري والفلسطيني الذين يناضلان للخلاص من حكم القمع والاحتلال، ولا يصب إلّا في خانة تجميل صورة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قاتل الأطفال في غزة وكامل الأراضي الفلسطينية وشبيه النظام الأسدي قاتل الأطفال في سوريا.
إننا نؤمن أن لا كرامة ولا حرية ولا عدل في التحالف مع إسرائيل التي تحتل الجولان السوري منذ 47 عامًا بعد أن هجّرت غالبية سكانه وهدمت قراه وبيوته، وتحتل فلسطين منذ 66 عامّا في مجزرة مستمرة من القتل والتهجير وهدم البيوت. كما ونستنكر المحاولات الرامية إلى تبرير التحالف مع إسرائيل تحت شعار “لا صوت يعلو فوق صوت المعركة”، وهو الشعار نفسه الذي استخدمه النظام طيلة عقود من أجل قمع السوريين وثنيهم عن المطالبة بحقوقهم.
ومثلما نرفض استمرار حكم الأسد لسوريا بكل ما يحمله من إرهاب في دموية مفرطة وإبادة لمقومات الحياة الكريمة، فإننا نرفض الممارسات الإرهابية الشبيهة التي تُمارسها الحركات الأصولية ونرفض أن يكون البديل هو الاحتلال الإسرائيلي المؤسس الأول للإرهاب في شرق المتوسط، فالحرية والعدل والكرامة لا تتجزأ ولا يمكننا السعي إليها في سوريا وإنكارها عن فلسطين، الثورة ليست استبدال مجرم بمجرم آخر ولا استبدال حكم الاستبداد بالاحتلال إنما ثورة حرية وعدل وكرامة.

The Occupation Is Not an Ally to Our Revolution

Syrian women and men have broken the barrier of silence in their revolution against the repressive Assad regime, taking to the streets en masse to demand freedom. The regime faced their revolution with unprecedented brutality, murdering nearly 200,000 people, forcibly disappearing tens of thousands and displacing millions. Yet, the Syrian people clung to their demands for freedom, justice and dignity as the core demands of the revolution.
Since the very beginning, the regime has sought to squelch the liberatory goals of the revolution by portraying itself as a bulwark of resistance against occupation and by promoting religious extremism and planting its seeds among those opposing its criminal and despotic reign, and it was quite easy to find figures resembling the regime in the ranks of the opposition. The rise of fundamentalist movements represented the first success of the regime to smear the revolution and its goals. Three and a half years into the ongoing massacre perpetrated by the Assad regime against the Syrian people, we are recognizing another form of deviation from the goals of the revolution. It manifests itself in the attempts of some Syrian dissidents at striking alliances with Israeli occupation under the pretext of defying Assad’s slaughter and replacing a murderous regime by the collaboration with a murderous occupier.
Cloaked by the guise of toppling the Assad dictatorship, the project propagated by Kamal Labwani and his allies is a profound departure from the goals of the revolution and a cheap violation of the rights of the Palestinian and Syrian people fighting to put an end to oppression and occupation. Such a project only serves to sugarcoat the Israeli occupation that regularly murders Palestinian children in Gaza and throughout Palestine, precisely like the child-murdering Syrian regime.
We believe that freedom, dignity and justice cannot be achieved through allying with Israel which continues to occupy the Golan Heights for 47 years, after expelling most of its indigenous population and demolishing its homes and villages. This is also the very state that has occupied Palestine for 66 years in an ongoing massacre of killing, displacement and home demolitions.
We also reject any attempt to justify collaboration with Israel by claiming the battle against Assad trumps all. After all, “the battle against Israel trumps all” was the very slogan employed by the Assad regime for decades to oppress the Syrian people and dissuade them from calling for their rights.
And as we reject Assad’s rule in Syria in all its bloodshed and deprivation of the basic principles for dignified life, we also reject the similar terrorist actions committed by fundamentalist movements. But we will not accept Israeli occupation, which laid the first foundations for terrorism in the Eastern Mediterranean, as an alternative.
Freedom, dignity and justice cannot be divided nor can we strive for them in Syria while denying them in Palestine.
Revolution is not replacing one criminal with another nor is it the replacement of tyranny with occupation. We Own Our Future revolution is an unrelenting commitment to freedom, dignity and justice.

Dans leur révolution contre le régime répressif d’Al-Assad, les syrien.ne.s ont brisé la barrière du silence, descendant en masse dans les rues pour exiger la liberté. Le régime affronta leur révolution avec une brutalité sans précédent, assassinant près de 200.000 personnes, en ayant fait disparaître des dizaines de milliers et déplacé des millions. Pourtant, le peuple syrien continue s’est tenu fermement à ses revendications de liberté, de justice et de dignité, comme exigences centrales de la révolution.
Depuis le tout début, le régime a cherché à étouffer les objectifs libérateurs de la révolution en se présentant comme un rempart de la résistance contre l’occupation et en promouvant et disséminant les graines de l’extrémisme religieux parmi ceux qui s’opposent à son règne criminel et despotique, et il était assez facile de trouver des personnages ressemblant à ce régime dans les rangs de l’opposition. La montée des mouvements fondamentalistes a représenté le premier succès du régime pour salir la révolution et ses objectifs. Depuis trois ans et demi dans le massacre en cours perpétré par le régime d’Al-Assad contre le peuple syrien, nous retrouvons une autre forme de déviation par rapport aux objectifs de la révolution. Elle se manifeste dans les tentatives de certains dissidents syriens à forger des alliances avec l’occupation israélienne sous le prétexte de défier le carnage d’Al-Assad et le remplacement d’un régime assassin par la collaboration avec un occupant assassin.
Masqué sous le déguisement du renversement de la dictature d’Al-Assad, le projet propagé par Kamal Labwani et ses alliés représente une sortie radicale des objectifs de la révolution et une violation flagrante des droits des peuples palestinien et syrien qui luttent pour mettre fin à l’oppression et à l’occupation. Un tel projet ne sert qu’à édulcorer l’occupation israélienne qui assassine régulièrement des enfants palestiniens à Gaza et dans toute la Palestine, précisément comme le régime tueur d’enfants syrien.
Nous croyons que la liberté, la dignité et la justice ne peuvent pas être atteintes par une alliance avec Israël qui continue d’occuper le Golan depuis 47 ans, après avoir expulsé la plupart de sa population indigène et démoli ses maisons et ses villages. C’est exactement le même État qui a occupé la Palestine depuis 66 ans dans un massacre toujours en cours fait d’assassinats, de déplacements et de démolitions de maisons.
Nous rejetons également toute tentative pour justifier la collaboration avec Israël en affirmant que la lutte contre Al-Assad l‘emporte sur tout le reste. Après tout, “la bataille contre Israël l’emporte sur tout” était précisément le slogan utilisé par le régime d’Al-Assad pendant des décennies pour opprimer le peuple syrien et le dissuader de faire appel à ses droits.
Et tout comme nous rejetons le règne d’Al-Assad en Syrie dans toute son effusion de sang et sa privation des principes élémentaires pour une vie digne, nous rejetons aussi les actions terroristes semblables commises par des mouvements fondamentalistes. Mais nous n’accepterons pas l’occupation israélienne, qui a jeté les premiers fondements du terrorisme dans la Méditerranée orientale, comme une alternative.
La liberté, la dignité et la justice ne peuvent pas être divisées et nous ne pouvons nous battre pour elles en Syrie tout en les refusant en Palestine.
La révolution ne consiste pas à remplacer un criminel par un autre, ni à remplacer la tyrannie par l’occupation. Notre révolution est un engagement implacable à la liberté, à la dignité et à la justice.
