نحن الموقعات والموقعين أدناه، من مواقعنا المتوزعة في هذا العالم بين المنطقة العربية والمنافي، نود أن نعبر لكم عن دعمنا لنضال الزاباتيين من أجل الحرية والكرامة والعدالة والديمقراطية الحقّة. هذا النضال الذي ينفح الحياة في عروق كل النساء والرجال الساعين لتعرية وتفكيك أنظمة التسلط والهيمنة اللا إنسانية التي سادت عالمنا طيلة القرون الخمسة الماضية، ومازال سكان أميركا الأصليون مستمرين بالنضال ضدها حتى يومنا هذا. منذ انتفاضتهم في الأول من كانون الثاني من العام 1994، غيّر الزاباتيون حياة السكان الأصليين في تشياباس المكسيكية، بعد أن أعادوا لهم مساحات واسعة من أراضٍ كانت قد سُرقت من أجدادهم إبّان الغزو الإسباني للمكسيك قبل 500 عام، ووأُجبروا على العمل فيها كأقنان جيلاً بعد جيل. وبالرغم من اعتداءات الحكومة المكسيكية المتواترة على الزاباتيين خلال العشرين عاماً الفائتة، واصلت الرفيقات والرفاق في جيش التحرير الوطني الزاباتي “EZLN”، الدفاع سوياً عن أراضيهم، وتسيير شؤونهم من خلال “الحكومة الجيدة”، باستقلالية تامة عن أي من مؤسسات “الحكومة السيئة”.

تلقينا، مؤخراً، الأخبار عن اعتداءات قامت بها الحكومة السيئة على الزاباتيين، في 20 و27/1/2014، حين قامت ميليشيات “CIOAC” (المركز المستقل للعمال والفلاحين – ديمقراطية)، بالهجوم على أهالي تجمع “10 نيسان”، إحدى قواعد دعم الزاباتيين في مقاطعة “17 نوفمبر” ذات الحكم الذاتي، وحيث أغار مئات من عناصر المجموعة المدججة بالأسلحة النارية والعصي والهراوات والحجارة على الأراضي الزراعية، واقتلعوا 87 شجرة من أشجار المحميات البيئية، وسرقوا 41 شاحنة صغيرة محملة بالخشب، مخلّفين ستة جرحى من أفراد “جيش التحرير الزاباتي”، ثلاثة منهم إصابتهم حرجة وأحدهم يواجه خطر فقدان بصره كلياً. لذلك فإننا نرفع صوتنا مع “المجلس المحلي الزاباتي في موراليا” لإدانة اعتداءات ميليشيات “CIOAC” وداعميها في الحكومة السيئة بمستوياتها الثلاثة، الفيدرالي والإقليمي والبلدي. وندين كل محاولات هذه الحكومة السيئة تحطيمَ الحركة الزاباتية سواء عبر القمع العسكري والميليشياوي المباشر، أو باتباع أسلوب الترهيب وبث الدعاية بقصد إنهاك المقاومة الاجتماعية وخنق الأصوات المعارضة والقضاء على الحركة الزاباتية. كما نؤكد على دعمنا التام لحق الزاباتيين المطلق بالدفاع عن أنفسهم وعن سلامتهم الفردية والاجتماعية وعن مناطقهم، وعن استقلالهم في مواجهة الحرب التي تشنها عليهم حكومة سيئة هي ليست إلا واحدة من أدوات نظامٍ نيوليبرالي لا ينتعش إلا بالمزيد من الموت والدمار والتهجير.

وباعتبارنا جزءا من حركة النضال ضد الاحتلال والتهجير في فلسطين، ومن ثورة الحرية والعدالة في سورية، نستلهم التجربة الزاباتية الطامحة لا لتغيير العالم القائم وحسب، بل لابتكار عالم مغاير، من الأسفل، يتسع لعوالمَ كثيرة. عالم، كما يقولون، يتعين أن يبدعه “الأكثر فقراً وضعفاً” لا أولئك المتربعون “فوق” في الأعلى. كما ننظر بعين الاهتمام للزاباتيين ونستلهم شكل حكمهم البديل القائم على التنظيم الذاتي المستقل، من الأسفل وباتجاه اليسار، متحررين من هيمنة الدولة وفساد السياسات الانتخابية. أولئك هم الذين يثبتون لنا اليوم أن خلق مجتمع ديمقراطي أصيل، غير هرمي، مؤسس على المساواة، ليس مجرد فكرة خيالية بل هو حقيقة قائمة بالفعل. ومثلما هو حقيقي في تشياباس، من الممكن أن يتحول إلى واقع في مناطق أخرى من العالم كمنطقتنا. في نهاية المطاف، نعتقد أن نضالاتنا في سورية وفلسطين وتشياباس لن تنتصر إلا من خلال خلق هذا العالم الجديد، حيثما كلٌّ حسب موقعه وما يملكه من وسائل. ولهذا السبب نعبر لكم/ى هنا عن غضبنا الشديد جراء أي اعتداء تتعرض له رفيقاتنا ورفاقنا في تشياباس، ونقول بصريح العبارة “من يمس الزاباتيين بسوء كأنما أساء إلينا جميعاً”.

Para todos los que luchan por crear un mundo donde quepan muchos mundos

Nosotros, los abajo firmantes, desde nuestro rincón dela región árabe y en el exilio, escribimos para expresar nuestro apoyo a la lucha Zapatista por libertad, dignidad, justicia y democracia directa, una lucha que es inspiración para todos los que luchan para desmantelar todos los sistemas de dominación y deshumanización que han caracterizado el mundo durante los últimos cinco siglos, y contra los que los pueblos indígenas de América continúan luchando.

Desde su levantamiento el 1° de enero de 1994, l@s Zapatistas han transformado la vida de las comunidades indígenas de Chiapas, México, después de haber recuperado gran parte de sus tierras ancestrales, que les fueron robadas con la conquista española hace 500 años, y en las que se vieron forzados a trabajar como sirvientes.

A pesar de los repetidos ataques del gobierno mexicano contra l@s Zapatistas durante los últimos veinte años, los compañeros y compañeras del EZLN siguen defendiendo colectivamente sus tierras y gobernando sus asuntos a través de su propio “Buen Gobierno”, que funciona de manera independiente y sin ninguna relación con el “Mal Gobierno” y sus instituciones.

Recientemente hemos recibido noticias de que las reiteradas agresiones del Mal Gobierno contra l@s zapatistas alcanzaron un nuevo nivel los días 20 y 27 de enero, cuando un grupo llamado CIOAC (Central Independiente de Obreros Agrícolas y Campesinos) “Democrática” atacó la comunidad “10 de Abril”, una base de apoyo Zapatista del Municipio Autónomo Rebelde “17 de Noviembre”. Armados con piedras, palos, machetes y armas de fuego, cientos de miembros de la CIOAC tomaron por asalto la tierra, arrancaron 87 árboles de la reserva ecológica, robaron madera por valor de 41 camionetas, e hirieron a seis miembros del EZLN , tres de ellos de gravedad, y dejando a uno en peligro de perder la vista.

Nos unimos al Consejo del Buen Gobierno Zapatista del Caracol IV Morelia en la denuncia de los ataques llevados a cabo por la CIOAC y sus patrocinadores que provienen de los tres niveles del Mal Gobierno: federal, regional y municipal.

Condenamos todos los intentos del Mal Gobierno para aplastar el movimiento Zapatista, sea a través de la represión militar y paramilitar, las tácticas de intimidación, o por medio de dádivas destinadas a desactivar la resistencia colectiva, despojando a los zapatistas y amedrentando la disidencia.

Reiteramos nuestro pleno apoyo al derecho inalienable de l@s Zapatistas para defender su integridad personal y colectiva, su territorio y su autonomía frente a la guerra contrainsurgente que libra contra ell@s el Mal Gobierno, una institución que hoy en día no cumple más que una función administrativa al servicio de un sistema neoliberal mucho más amplio y de mayor alcance, el cual exige para su funcionamiento la muerte, la destrucción y el despojo.

Como estamos involucrados en una lucha contra el colonialismo y el despojo en Palestina y en una revolución por la libertad y la justicia en Siria, nos identificamos plenamente con el proyecto Zapatista que no busca cambiar el mundo sino crear desde abajo uno completamente nuevo, donde quepan muchos mundos. Este es un mundo, como ellos cuentan, que no deben crear los de arriba, sino “los más pequeños”.

Nos inspiran l@s zapatistas y su forma alternativa de gobierno que se basa en la auto-organización autónoma desde abajo y a la izquierda, liberándose de la hegemonía del Estado y de las políticas electorales corruptas. Son ell@s l@s que nos muestran hoy que la creación de una sociedad genuinamente democrática, igualitaria y no jerárquica no es una mera utopía, sino una realidad. Es una realidad en Chiapas, y puede ser una realidad en otras geografías como la nuestra.

Estamos convencidos de que la lucha en Siria, Palestina y Chiapas sólo puede tener éxito a través de la creación de ese nuevo mundo por todos nosotros, dondequiera que estemos y con lo que dispongamos. Es por esta razón que expresamos nuestra indignación contra todo atentado a nuestros compañeros y compañeras en Chiapas, en una declaración rotunda de que si tocan a l@s Zapatistas, nos tocan a todos.

To the adherents to the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle

To all who struggle to create a world where many worlds can fit

We, the signatories below, from our corner of the world in the Arab region and in exile, write to express our support for the Zapatista struggle for freedom, dignity, justice and direct democracy, a struggle that is an inspiration for all striving to dismantle all systems of domination and dehumanisation that have characterised the world over the last five centuries, and which the indigenous peoples of the Americas continue to struggle against.

Since their uprising on 1 January 1994, the Zapatistas have transformed the lives of indigenous communities in Chiapas Mexico, having recuperated large portions of their ancestral lands stolen from them with the Spanish conquest 500 years ago, on which they were then forced to work as servants.

Despite the Mexican government’s repeated attacks against the Zapatistas over the past twenty years, the compañeros and compañeras of the EZLN continue to collectively defend their lands and govern their affairs through their own “Good Government,” which functions independently from and without any relationship to the “Bad Government” and its institutions.

We recently received word that the Bad Government’s repeated aggressions against the Zapatistas reached a new level on 20 January and 27 January when a group called CIOAC (Independent Center of Agricultural Workers and Peasants –“Democracy”) attacked the community of “10 de Abril,” a Zapatista base of support in the autonomous rebel municipality “17 de Noviembre.” Armed with rocks, sticks, clubs and firearms, hundreds of CIOAC’s members raided the land, uprooted 87 trees in the ecological reserve, stole 41 pickup trucks worth of lumber, and injured six EZLN members, three of them seriously, and leaving one in danger of losing his sight.

We join the Zapatista Good Government Council of Caracol IV Morelia in denouncing the attacks carried out by CIOAC and its sponsors which hail from all three levels of the Bad Government: federal, regional, and municipal.

We condemn all attempts by the Bad Government to crush the Zapatista movement whether through military and paramilitary repression, intimidation tactics, or through handouts aimed at deactivating collective resistance, dispossessing the Zapatistas, and stifling dissent.

We reiterate our full support of the inalienable right of the Zapatistas to defend themselves, their personal and collective integrity, their territory, and their autonomy against the counter-insurgency war being waged on them by the Bad Government, an institution that is today merely serving an administrative role at the service of a much more extensive, far reaching neoliberal system that requires death, destruction, and dispossession for it to operate.

As we are involved in a struggle against colonialism and dispossession in Palestine and an uprising for freedom and justice in Syria, we fully identify with Zapatista project that seeks not to change the world, but to create a whole new one from below where many worlds can fit. This is a world, as they write, that must be created not by those above but by “the smallest of them all.”

We find inspiration from the Zapatistas and their alternative form of government which is based on autonomous self-organising from below and to the left, breaking free from state hegemony and corrupt electoral politics. It is they who show us today that creating a genuinely democratic, egalitarian and non-hierarchal society is not a mere utopia, but a reality. It is a reality in Chiapas, and it can be a reality in other geographies like our own.

We are convinced that the struggles in Syria, Palestine and Chiapas can only succeed through the creation of that new world by all of us wherever we are, with whatever we have. It is for this reason that we here express our indignation against any attack on our compañeros and compañeras in Chiapas in a clear statement that if they touch the Zapatistas, they touch all of us.

Long live the Zapatista Army of National Liberation!
